Job DescriptionInnovation Lead
Join the Product and Experience Innovation team to drive Takeda’s transformation into truly digital biopharmaceutical. Our global and diverse team supports Takeda-wide transformation efforts with design thinking, product management, innovation funding and coaching, scouting & partnership management, and by maintaining Takeda’s external digital innovation ecosystem.
We are looking for an innovation lead with the responsibility to support strategy development and management of Takeda community-of-practice of innovation and open Innovation, as well as to provide product management support to our portfolio projects and lead engagement with our external innovation ecosystem. This exciting role is highly visible and will help you to develop your career and leadership skills to the next level.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Drive world-class vision for Takeda digital health and innovation with the team, define operational tactics, KPI and ensure execution delivering significant outcomes;
Lead and coordinate Takeda’s internal and external digital innovation programs, platforms, and communities, such as Brightidea, Catalytic Innovation Grants, and iChallenge;
Contribute to internal and external communications for the team;
Digital product development and management;
Strategic planning and program management;
Partner with internal (DDT leadership, BU/BFs across the company) and external stakeholders, as well as vendors and partners to ensure strategic alignment and efficient execution of programs;

Product and Experience Innovation
EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
BS/BA in Business, Communications, Healthcare, or related field required.
Sound conceptual understanding of innovation and digital, organizational development, and administration. Expertise in digital health or innovation in health care is considered an advantage;
3-6+ years of professional experience in supporting organizational transformation with digital and/or innovation focus and/or program and community management, as well as driving cross-functional objectives and teams. Experience in health care or pharmaceuticals is considered an advantage;
Communication skills that extend beyond basic PowerPoint and presentation skills to the ability to create persuasive transformation narratives and great storytelling;
People skills and experience required to work in highly dynamic, global, diverse, and multicultural environments;
Ability to prioritize personal, project, and team goals and activities proactively, and to lead effectively hybrid teams to focus on essential tasks to achieve goals;
Following experiences and skills are considered an advantage: International experience, Agile training and certification, Service Design / Design Thinking, Patient Journey Mapping;
