The Role
The Director of US Commercial FP&A will assist the US Commercial, Accounting and Finance organizations by developing key insights related to contracting, pricing, inventory, and demand. This critical role will manage and track channel performance while comparing actual performance against contractual obligations and expectations. In addition to full channel and gross to net management, this role will oversee all cash and balance sheet transactions related to the US Commercial business, and assist the US Commercial LT in delivering on their strategic priorities. This role is based in our Princeton, NJ office with ability to work flexibly 30% of the time.
Heres What Youll Do
Own channel / segment demand and price forecasting process, as well as all necessary SOX and financial controls.
Partner with Global Accounting to manage all balance sheet true ups and sales reconciliations for commercial contracts.
Understand how segment and contractual obligations and shifts impact financial performance.
Closely monitor downstream inventory and how it relates to customer demand.
Assist US Commercial in managing supply plans and forecasts.
Assist US Market Access teams in understanding impacts of pricing and contracting decisions.
Partner with Global FP&A and Treasury to understand cash flow forecasts and performance.
Assist US Commercial and Medical teams in execution of key priorities and financial deliverables.
Act as Business Partner to US Medical organization by overseeing all financial activities.
Review contractual payments related to performance-based agreements / admin fees.
Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
BA/BS in accounting or finance required; MBA / CPA preferred.
Experience with US Pharmaceutical Gross to Net reconciliation and channel forecasting
10+ years of Finance / Accounting experience, preferably in life sciences
Heres What Youll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; highly proficient in Excel based modeling.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Experience with tier 1 ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and planning and reporting tools.
