The Role

This is an exciting time to join Moderna as we expand our product reach globally to hundreds of millions of people and experience acceleration in our pipeline and late phase development, thereby poising Moderna for substantial growth in the upcoming years.

The Sr. Manager, Global Partner Relationship Management, is part of Modernas Commercial and Medical Operations team. The roles primary responsibility is to support, monitor and manage global contact center partners and vendors to ensure a positive, seamless and helpful experience for Modernas customers and the medical community. The successful candidate will be willing to take on challenges to help execute strategy by monitoring partner and vendor performance metrics and supporting contract management and invoicing for Modernas Global Contact Center. The candidate will also have in depth experience and knowledge of vendor and partner relationships in order to effectively bring multiple internal stakeholders into alignment.

Heres What Youll Do

  • Support Modernas Contact Center Partner and Vendor Strategy to deliver customer excellence globally and support continued high growth

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align on vendor and partner activities

  • Lead reconciliation activities across partners to oversee and understand market needs feeding this back to the relevant business function(s)

  • Lead invoicing related activities with vendors and manage operational impact to department

  • Provide in depth knowledge of quality and vendor performance metrics across countries to internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with Contact Center Operations

  • Communicate key events and milestones to vendors that may impact volumes and associated service level monitoring

  • Manage and make decisions on continuous improvement initiatives through innovation and collaboration

  • Ensure appropriate, inspection ready documentation is in place for all vendors and partners

  • Collaborate with department & cross-functional colleagues to assess impact and ensure operational alignment

  • Monitor partner and vendor performance metrics

  • Support vendor management and invoicing for the Global Contact Center

Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field

  • 6+ years' experience in a role supporting program or operations management

  • Prior experience working with external vendors and/or partners (i.e. distributors, local market authorization holders, affiliates)

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn cloud-based Contact Center systems and solutions

  • Biotech or pharma experience preferred

  • Proven ability to convey business needs to external partners and vendors

  • Experience in building program governance or process development

  • Solid understanding of relevant FDA, EU, ICH guidelines and regulations

  • Solid organizational and strong interpersonal and relationship skills

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate across various levels of management and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated track record of effective project management in a fast-paced environment

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • A digital first mindset and thirst for continuous learning and improvement

  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, global and cross-functional environment
