The Role
Moderna is seeking a Principal Product Manager, High Complexity Clinical Biomarker Lab Data, to be responsible for the design, deployment and continuous improvement of managing high complexity biomarker data digitally for the clinical biomarker laboratories, including end to end process of data generation, data storage, data analytics and data reporting. In this role, you will bring full understanding of the business partners needsand develop a priority-based and innovative roadmap which you will drive to success. You will interact with Modernas engineering and infrastructure groups to ensure the proposed solutions are in alignment with Modernas Digital standards and can integrate seamlessly within the Modernas ecosystem.
Heres What Youll Do
Define and drive product strategy and roadmap of high complexity clinical biomarker lab data (eg. Clinical cytometry data and data analytics) in collaboration with business partners
Develop product solutions of our end-to-end lab automation, as well as lab data collection, management, and analytics for high complexity biomarker lab
Perform evaluation of emerging technologies and recommend product options to meet our roadmap objectives
Foster a culture of innovation within the team and with stakeholders to challenge the status quo leveraging both new technologies and creative solutions within existing systems
Participate in the execution of complex, integrated projects - proactively identifying risks / mitigation strategies while communicating to stakeholders and driving timelines
Provide input to digital leadership teams to implement efforts and projects to meet evolving business needs
Apply an operational excellence mindset to help identify, devise and recommend new opportunities to optimize current processes
Ensure GxP compliance is prioritized in the design, delivery and maintenance of all systems
Serve as a change agent to engage and educate the business owners on the capability and functionality of the solutions with a focus on value stream optimization
Collaborate with Moderna's architecture and engineering team to ensure product components align with Moderna's architecture blueprint
Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Masters degree or equivalent in science, engineering or computer science
9+ years of job relevant experience in pharma/biotech with a focus on scientific data management and data analysis, lab systems, clinical data, and GxP systems
Experience with software and data analysis of clinical cytometry
Experience in defining and implementing AI/ML-based solutions for advanced analytics
Experience in LIMS systems, preferably LabVantage
Experience working with CSV (Computer System Validation) concepts for GxP applications and robust understanding and practice of change and release management
Working experience with AWS technology, including S3, redshift, and Boomi
Experience working in an Agile SDLC with experience creating both functional and technical user stories, instrument integration and laboratory digital workflow optimization
Heres What Youll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
PhD is a plus
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and QA
Extensive knowledge biomarker assays and software for qPCR, and next gene sequencing etc.
Experience working in a transition from a precommercial to commercial for a life sciences company is a plus
Ability to adapt to a fast changing, high paced working environment
Experience in defining, scoping and managing technology initiatives
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
Ability to lead and motivate teams to reach a common goal
