About This Role

RefleXion is looking for a senior-level cost accountant to support our fast-growing manufacturing capabilities in Hayward, CA. This is a high visibility role working with manufacturing, shipping, receiving and financial reporting.

 What You Will Be Doing

• Assist with developing and maintaining cost accounting system, documentation, and records
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close and Audit
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Review and correct the average cost of raw material, WIP, Finished Goods; Monitor costs and update them as appropriate
• Perform reconciliation of inventory for all locations
• Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a quarterly basis
• Develop necessary controls and monitor timely and accurate processing of all inventory transactions
• Establish overhead burden rates and perform analysis on overhead absorbed
• Maintain Bills of Materials
• Maintain Labor Routings & perform labor cost analysis
• Assist with analyzing and combining different data to calculate profit margins
• Assist with making estimates on new and proposed product cost
• Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program
• Assist in the design and implementation of Operations cost and process improvements
• Other duties as assigned.

Where You Will Do This Job  

•  Hybrid - This position will allow the successful candidate to work on a Hybrid work location schedule. They must be based in the greater SF Bay Area and must be able to commute to the RefleXion office in Hayward 1-4 days a week, depending on the role.

What We Need

• Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in accounting, finance, or closely-related field
• 5+ years of professional cost accounting experience required
• Must have experience in manufacturing finance and understanding of factory operations and cost accounting topics and concepts
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• A proven record of being able to multi-task and adapt to changing situations and varied demands. Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment on his/her own and handle numerous responsibilities
• A self-starter with a proven track record of driving projects through to implementation
• Experience in developing business processes and system enhancements to drive productivity
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills and an initiative/creativity to drive change with a hands-on approach and an intense focus on results

Ways To Stand Out

• Previous QAD experience preferred
• Experience with a systems implementation is a plus

The hourly pay range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000.   Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
