PacBio has a unique opportunity for a highly motivated Sr. Manager, Commercial Process to take ownership of programs, processes, and enablement in support of our direct and indirect (channel) business. In partnership with Commercial Leadership, the Sr. Manager, Commercial Process will establish the necessary infrastructure to support revenue growth, expand global reach and improve the customer experience. A key Commercial Operations team member and leader, the successful individual will work closely with other functional groups such as sales, service, marketing, finance, IT, and logistics to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned to priority initiatives and that the required resources are identified and allocated. The role will be responsible for a broad scope of operational activities including but not limited to, business process design, enterprise business system (SAP/SFDC) requirements translation and change management expertise across the Lead to Revenue workstreams. Many of these responsibilities will require enhancement to existing infrastructure or creation of net new capabilities. The ideal candidate will be an individual capable of formulating a strategic plan, generating the necessary internal support for their vision and an ability to execute and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the Commercial leadership team to deploy a strategic operating plan to drive results on key initiatives and projects in support of targeted growth and Commercial excellence
  • Review and document current Commercial operations infrastructure to highlighting areas for improvement, generating actionable prioritization and leading initiatives to execute
  • Working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, support, legal, finance, IT and other stakeholders to regionalize and implement programs across Lead to Revenue process in both direct and indirect channels to ensure alignment across the business globally
  • Translate business needs into actionable and prioritized functional requirements to support IT business partners developing new enterprise business system functionality
  • Develop strategic change management approaches to ensure adoption of new global Commercial processes, procedures, and system functionality
  • Work closely with Commercial training organizations to deliver end user training
  • Execute program management responsibilities for large strategic initiatives taken on by Commercial Operations organization


Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent track record and background in Commercial operations supporting process excellence and business execution in both direct and indirect channels
  • High degree of business acumen and familiarity with Lead to Revenue commercial business process in a B2B environment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including, but not limited to sales, operations, support, finance, IT, marketing, legal, and senior leadership
  • Flexible and able to work in an ever changing, demanding and fast paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational skills, oral/written and presentation skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Familiarity with enterprise business systems including SAP ECC, Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Pardot, MuleSoft) ServiceMax
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing business model a plus
  • A passionate individual who is self-motivated to deliver results that will catalyze growth within the organizations business operations

Salary Range:

$146,200.00 - $197,800.00
