Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Business & Talent, EEDI, the EEDI Data & Research Manager will partner with the Human Capital Analytics team within the Global Talent organization and the EEDI Center of Excellence to support the enterprise with HR data and analysis to inform and advise progress on DEI strategic priorities. This role will also support DEI project planning by providing strategic insights based on data analysis.
- Leverages data and technology to enable HR and business leaders to make informed data-driven DEI decisions. Apply holistic thinking to capture the AbbVie workforce adjusting the approach as needed to reflect unique parts of the business while considering DEI best practices.
- Bring thought leadership in the area of DEI analytics, using your unique perspective on how we can create actionable insights related to top DEI priorities.
- Conceptualize, design and conduct new research or “discovery” analyses to understand the workforce differently, in order to influence and shape people and HR strategies.
- Provide reporting on key enterprise, operational and strategic DEI dashboard metrics.
- Collaborate with the Human Capital Analytics team on the continued evolution of the DEI dashboard.
- Take a proactive approach to data management, driving new approaches and ideas for how to organize and optimize data to maximize insights opportunities.
- Use quantitative and qualitative analysis on client data to assess DEI within client organizations.
- Use various analysis and visualization software tools to conduct analysis and produce insights and deliverables.
- Connects DEI programs to performance outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 4 years+ of experience in diversity, equity and inclusion or in an enterprise and/or global role.
- 6 years+ HR / legal / compliance experience managing sensitive data.
- Broad multi-stakeholder experience.
- Experience in managing complex projects across multi-disciplinary, matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- High organization and detail orientation with a successful track record of executing initiatives from start to finish.
- Ability to influence people without direct authority to achieve solutions.
- Effectively use data to tell a story or create a narrative for change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills plus interpersonal and presentation skills to drive results.
