The Director, Talent Acquisition for Global Clinical Development will be integral to Regeneron’s continued successful expansion and is an important group leader within our Global Recruiting Team. The role will be responsible for leading and developing a team of TA Leaders, Managers, Specialists and external staffing partners, supporting key business units across Regeneron's clinical trails business areas. This is a hands-on role where the incumbent will also be responsible for recruiting senior level roles within the defined business. This role is open for hybrid work - 2-3 days / wk. onsite at our HQ Campus in Sleepy Hollow, NY.  This is not available as a fully remote role.   

A typical day might include the following:

  • Leading a top-of-industry recruiting team that is delivery focused, flexible, responsive, and achieves goals within established time frames and budgets.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, including senior management, to acquire outstanding industry talent.
  • Coaching and developing direct reports to ensure a great employee experience for your team
  • Partner with the DE&I team to establish strategies to build candidate pipelines for underrepresented talent.
  • Establish talent acquisition success criteria, through reports and metrics that demonstrate ROI including quantitative and qualitative success measures
  • Develop effective working relationships with HR Business partners and senior business leaders to lead and manage the recruitment process to meet short-term and long-term talent planning and gap strategies.
  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on talent in a competitive landscape to Recruiters, HR Partners and Leadership teams.

This job might be for you if you:

  • Have a thorough understanding of the business strategy to deliver results for Regeneron’s internal business units, taking into account all partners including employees, hiring managers and leaders, the candidate marketplace, search firms and diversity/inclusion-affiliated organizations.
  • Comfort with toggling between leading and doing and having the expertise and experience to know when to delegate and when to do.
  • Will lead with high integrity. Ensuring recruitment methodologies and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair selection, assessment, pre-screening, and post-employment methodology.
  • Can be viewed as an authority and key partner to functional business and HR leaders on emerging staffing trends and people analytics. Gather feedback to continuously drive quality and efficiency
  • Have demonstrated experience developing, leading and directing innovation across full-lifecycle Talent Acquisition strategies
  • Are effective at leading with data by translating data into actionable insights, strategies and action plans
  • Can independently recruit, own and handle a cue of senior level open and confidential positions.
  • Lead searches in partnership with retained and contingent agency partners as needed.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a passion for recruiting for scientific talent to help grow teams and organizations that create world class technology and therapeutics that impact patient’s lives. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business or a related area with 12 + years of related experience with at least 4 years’ experience managing recruiting teams. Experience recruiting in the Biopharmaceutical industry; R&D and Life Sciences is strongly preferred. A strong business intuition and ability to influence; capable of both “big picture” strategy and tactical execution with a highly responsive, agile and customer focused approach.

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually)

$172,500.00 - $287,500.00
