Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Position 

The Senior Project Manager – Research will focus on developing comprehensive project plans which will include milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.  This role will interact with different departments and be a crossfunctional role.

What You’ll Do   

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including goals, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.  
  • Develop and support collaborative cross-functional teams. Coordinate and oversee the execution of drug discovery projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.   
  • Work with project teams to identify project risks and develop strategic response plans.  
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, ensuring alignment on objectives and progress.  
  • Develop fit-for-purpose communication strategies for use within teams and to/from key stakeholders, including executive-level management and Eikon’s Board of Directors  
  • Identify operational improvements that will benefit future project teams. Partner with other Project Managers to develop and implement PPM process improvements.  

Qualifications   

  • Bachelor's degree required; in a life sciences field is preferred.    
  • 5 years minimum demonstrated experience in a drug discovery setting managing or leading complex projects.   
  • In-depth understanding of the drug discovery process, including target identification, library screening, lead optimization, preclinical testing. GLP/GMP experience is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities concurrently and quickly adjust to changing circumstances.   
  • Ability to skillfully use your interpersonal skills and influence to accomplish work and ensure optimal team performance.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.  
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software as well as Microsoft Office required.  
  • Project Management certification desirable.

The expected salary range for this role is $142,000 to $165,000 depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
