Job Description
Gilead's mission is to discover, develop and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. Reporting to the Senior Director, Managed Markets Marketing Oncology, the Director will be responsible for the development and execution of franchise access strategies and initiatives to amplify brand messaging, increase awareness and reputation of Gilead Oncology, and enhance capabilities across all market access customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years' Experience

Masters' Degree and Ten Years' Experience

PhD and Eight Years' Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
The salary range for this position is: $214,795.00 - $277,970.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director, Managed Markets Marketing Oncology, the Director will be responsible for the development and execution of franchise access strategies and initiatives to amplify brand messaging, increase awareness and reputation of Gilead Oncology, and enhance capabilities across all market access customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads oncology conference and non-personal promotion strategy and collaborates with customer-facing and internal teams on the execution of priority engagements/opportunities
- Partners collaboratively with cross-functional partners to develop the oncology franchise's local strategic plan and managed markets tactics to amplify brand messaging and build awareness/reputation of Gilead Oncology
- Develops above brand initiatives, tools, and resources used by National Account Managers, Key Account Directors, and Field Reimbursement Managers and ensures appropriate training and implementation
- Create the brand/portfolio materials and disease state awareness/education
- Partners with portfolio team to identify, develop and implement innovative partnerships, programs, and services aligned to corporate and brand objectives (health equity, SDoH, ONC care management, member/patient education, etc.)
- Identifies opportunities to remove access barriers to allow speed to field execution
- Develops and oversees channel-specific and above brand strategies, initiatives, and metrics to assess the impact (Payers, IDNs, GPOs, state societies, etc.)
- Represents the market access US perspective and provides input into global value and access strategy and planning teams for pipeline products
- Provide subject matter expertise on ONC market access-related matters (landscape updates, risks/opportunities, scenarios & Implications
- Lead and drive ad hoc projects and innovative initiatives that support product access across the Gilead ONC portfolio
- Leads and manages agency and consultant projects and relationships
- Manages and maintains budget and accruals process
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with access stakeholders'
Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years' Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of US payer and channel market dynamics that drive access/coverage decisions in Oncology
- Experience and knowledge across multiple US market access channels, including payer, PBM, GPO, IDN, distribution, specialty pharmacy
- Understanding of pharmaceutical payer marketing that includes FDA regulatory and legal environment (PIE, FDAMA-114, etc.)
- Advanced experience with product life cycle management is preferred
- Strong experience in marketing, sales, reimbursement and/or account management preferred
- Extensive Oncology experience and provider-administered Buy and Bill drug market experience preferred
- Field account management experience or existing relationships with ONC market access customers and/or decision makers
- Demonstrated ability to lead without authority, influence, resolve conflict, and drive decision making among cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven ability to successfully manage complexity, including solving problems and building strong relationships
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
