Job Details
As a member of the BOTOX® Therapeutic Marketing team, the Associate Director will be responsible for building and executing health care provider marketing plans for a new indication launch for BOTOX®. Key responsibilities include brand strategy, annual brand planning, forecasting, HCP segmentation, market research, HCP digital ecosystems, non-personal promotion, tactical plan execution and sales force alignment.
The Associate Director will engage and collaborate with a broad cross-functional team including expert physicians and advocacy organizations and partners such as media and creative agencies. Additional internal partners include regulatory, legal, public affairs, managed care, and medical teams. Close partnership with the direct to consumer (DTC) marketing team and associated BOTOX® Therapeutic indication teams is also required.
The Associate Director must demonstrate the ability to influence and lead cross-functionally to ensure all elements of professional marketing are rooted in strategy and consistent across all touchpoints. Critical to the role will be exceptional leadership abilities, modern marketing acumen and ability to develop strong relationships. The candidate must demonstrate effective skills in leading people and projects, and the ability to deliver quality performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Specific responsibilities:
• Develop HCP marketing programs and collaborate with cross functional team members to ensure consistency and flawless launch execution across all relevant channels
• Lead in the development of annual brand planning, including business objectives, strategies and translation of strategies to marketing programs and campaigns
• Developing product positioning (key claims, benefits); conduct market research to inform positioning and support recommendations
• Collaborate with agencies to develop creative content and messaging
• Lead the implementation of marketing programs from concept to execution, driving collaboration among internal and external partners
• Develop effective working relationships with Regulatory, Legal, Medical and Compliance counterparts to ensure all creative meet requirements
• Participate in market research and integrate insights into tactical execution
• Develop and manage overall professional budget
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in related field required, MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred
- Marketing/brand management experience executing marketing campaigns, preferably in pharma marketing
- Success in launching new brands, indications, or commercial programs in a lead role

Exceptional leadership skills and marketing savvy; Agency Management experience preferred

Solid business acumen, and ability to translate business and brand strategy into marketing programs

Strong written and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various levels/grades within the organization including senior leadership
