QA Technician

We are currently looking to fill a Quality Assurance Technician position. This position performs routine administrative duties in support of a QA team.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

• Preparing presentation materials for meetings, distributing agendas, recording meeting minutes

• Generating and tracking correspondences

• Retrieving, copying/scanning, coordinating and maintaining documents

• Ordering office and lab supplies

• Assisting with annual examination of retention samples

• Assisting with processing of returned components and complaint samples for destruction

• Coordinating and assigning lot set ups to team members

• May prepare site wide notifications

• Coordinating environmental chamber inventories associated with disposition

• Monitoring and reporting results of departmental room audits

• Assisting with lot status labeling

• May be responsible for disposition logbooks

• Controlling coordination of unprocessed bulk and in process bulk

• May prepare disposition paperwork for materials

• Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives

• Can prioritize multiple assignments and changing priorities

• Are able to learn and utilize computerized systems for daily performance of tasks

To be considered for this role you must hold an Associate’s degree in a physical or biological science and the following minimum amounts of relevant experience for each level:

• Technician II - 2+ years

• Technician III - 4+ years

May substitute proven experience for education requirement. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
