IAM Analyst

The Role

In this role, you will be an integral part of our growing team, working to ensure the security and integrity of our systems by supporting the implementation, integration, and maintenance of IAM solutions. The IAM Analyst will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, integration systems and applications to our IAM platforms, and managing incident queues. We are seeking a motivated and talented individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within the IAM domain, who is detail-oriented and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.

Heres What Youll Do

• Assist in the operations, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions and platforms

• Support the integration of IAM solutions with various applications, platforms, and systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, providing timely resolutions and escalating when necessary

• Handle day-to-day operational tasks for Identity and Access Management

• Manage the IAM incident queue, ensuring incidents and requests are appropriately prioritized, addressed, and resolved

• Onboard users and systems to IAM platforms, providing guidance and training as needed

• Participate in the development and maintenance of IAM-related documentation, such as policies, procedures, and guidelines

• Stay up to date on the latest IAM trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's IAM posture

• Contribute to the overall security of the organization by adhering to security policies and procedures

• Provide 24x7 support as needed for emergency situations and planned maintenance activities

Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

• Experience with IAM concepts, such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM)

• Understanding of common IAM protocols and standards, such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC

• BS level technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 2+ years of working experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or IT systems administration, or a similar area

• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell

• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the IAM domain

• IAM specific certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, CyberArk, etc.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or CISM

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
