Job Details
What's happening at Entrada Therapeutics? Our mission is to transform the treatment of devastating diseases and improve patients' quality of life using intracellular biologics. Leveraging our proprietary Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV)™ platform, we are creating and advancing a diverse pipeline of oligonucleotide, enzyme, protein, and enzyme-based programs to efficiently target and engage underlying drivers of diseases.
Our novel approach to drug design and delivery addresses current challenges associated with both large and small molecule therapeutics and represents a fundamental advancement in the field of intracellular biologics.
We're a tight-knit, patient-inspired team of experts and leaders in therapeutics development and are excited to grow and attract colleagues who are ready to join a high energy, dedicated team that likes to get things done and dramatically improve the lives of patients and their families.
The Perfect FitYou should be a versatile, self-motivated, and looking forward to rolling up your sleeves, as you’ll be involved in all aspects of ocular programs, supporting efforts for testing EEV, antisense oligonucleotides, small interfering ribonucleic acids and gene editing in vitro and in vivo. You should be ready to support our team of drug discovery scientists as we evaluate all the gene targeting modalities and carry out analytical assays for functional validation both in vitro and in vivo. The OpportunityIn this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in a lot of different aspects of our discovery biology work for the ocular programs, e.g. processing and analyzing samples from in vitro and in vivo studies will be just one of your areas of work. You’ll be expected to work through techniques like RNA/protein extraction, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, ELISA, western blot, tissue embedding, sectioning and staining. You’ll also have the opportunity to maintain and culture cell lines or tissues for in vitro or ex vivo studies, developing and executing cell-based or ex-vivo assays for validating biological activity of oligonucleotide therapeutics. Lastly, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare SOPs and other reports and publications.
