What Are We Doing?
Our foundational science harnesses the ability to create and then direct the differentiation of universal pluripotent stem cells into authentic, functional cells that can be used as allogeneic cellular therapies to treat a broad array of diseases. We can also further engineer these cells, enabling them to produce enzymes, antibodies, and other proteins for additional therapeutic benefit. We are passionate about delivering on the promise of cellular and gene therapy, shaping the future of cellular medicine, and delivering new therapies to millions of patients with treatment options. The ideal candidate will be excited and motivated to join a team tackling new challenges, spearheading our technological and innovative advancement of pluripotent stem cell (PSC) biology, characterization, and in vitro differentiation. The individual will participate in executing experiments, keep meticulous records of experimental details, analyze datasets, and will be involved in hands-on work in developing and scaling cell therapy manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

Execute in vitro experiments for differentiation, characterization and cultivation of pluripotent stem cells and derivatives 

Follow standard operating procedures and document experimental data in a timely and accurate manner  

Analyze and prepare data, present data analysis to colleagues in group and other internal meetings. 

Minimum Requirements

Have (Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university à BS/MS/PhD in Biological, Biomedical, or Chemical Engineering or related field of study) 

Possess the (Ability to work a ~6-month assignment (10-12 months strongly preferred, full-time) 

Must be 18 years of age by the start of the internship/co-op. 

Must have transportation to the site in NYC, NY 

This position is intended to be on-site and candidates will be informed should anything change. 

Excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 

Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across multiple functions. 

Weekend hours required (there will be cell culture activities that will require limited weekend work routinely)
