Shire Human Genetic Therapies, Inc., a Takeda company, is seeking a Senior Engineer II in Lexington, MA with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree plus 6 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Develop, execute and analyze technical documentation packages and perform required activities in tech transfers, new product introduction, change management, and continuous lifecycle management; provide technical assessment on change controls, deviations, and investigations, assess proposed changes to validated process components and own necessary quality systems; lead and support strategy development for tech transfers and new product introductions as required and provide representation on cross-functional project core teams and site GMP activities; interface with other site functions including procurement, supply chain, quality and operations to effectively communicate team requirements, and use project management skills to lead project teams to deliver on-time results.
