Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate Scientist, Investigative Toxicology in Cambridge, MA with the following requirements: Bachelor’sdegree in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacy,Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field plus 5 years of related experience ORMaster’s degree in Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacy,Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field plus 3 years of relatedexperience. Prior experience must include: Culture tumor cell lines and primary cells for use as in vitro safety models; perform cell-based assays (including cytotoxicity, cytokine release, proliferation) to characterize the mechanism of action of various immune-modulating therapeutics; design and execute multicolor flow cytometry studies to assess cellular phenotype; perform ex vivo analysis using techniques such as ELISA, Luminex, MSD, qPCR, and flow cytometry to interrogate the safety of therapeutic candidates; develop novel in vitro model systems to assess safety risks associated with various cell and gene therapy designs; prepare experimental protocols, analyze experimental data, and present study results at team meetings. Up to 2% international travel required. Up to 20% telecommuting allowed.
