The Senior Manager, Product Communications, will manage product communications for some of Regeneron’s established and investigational inflammation and immunology therapies. The role will be an integral part of our Corporate / Product Communications Team that can move deftly from science-driven data communications to broad unbranded and branded programs that educate and empower patient and healthcare professional audiences.

As the Senior Manager, Product Communications, a typical day might include the following:

  • Develop strategic long-term programs that will build support for Regeneron products, including partnering with Commercial, Development and Medical Affairs teams on disease awareness, launch preparedness and post-market engagement programs.
  • Manage product communications around medical congresses, data and regulatory milestones and product launches, including media strategy and press release development.
  • Develop clear and compelling messaging platforms that will resonate with key audiences and maintain all communications collateral materials.
  • Serve as Regeneron media spokesperson on key established and investigational therapies.
  • Anticipate and effectively respond to potential issues.
  • Leverage innovative digital and social media strategies to educate external audiences, in keeping with all regulatory and legal guidelines.
  • Plan and manage budget for all activities related to product communications.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure excellence in delivery.
  • Operate within and refine success metrics by which to measure and demonstrate success in overall communication programs.
  • Work in close collaboration with alliance partners, Commercial, Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, IR and R&D teams on product and pipeline communications.

  • Comfort in translating science into meaningful messages for external audiences.
  • Demonstrated skills in management of freelancers, vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading creative PR programming directed towards consumers and Health Care Professionals that has measurable impact.
  • Proven ability to leverage innovative technology and digital strategies to support product communications goals.
  • Understanding of regulatory, commercial and legal landscape governing pre-approval and post-approval pharmaceutical product communications.
  • Confidence to work effectively and collaboratively with employees from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers, research scientists and the general employee population.
  • Strong detail-oriented, organizational, process and project management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal / written communication and presentation skills.

To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 9 years relevant experience, including at least 5 years of proficiently developing and implementing product communications programs for one or more publicly traded companies – experience working with best-in-class biotechnology / pharmaceutical therapies across disease areas will be viewed favorably.

Ability to work as an independent, self-starter with urgency and a results-oriented mindset. Ability and proven success in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency and in navigating within a matrix organization.

Salary Range (annually)

$126,600.00 - $206,600.00
