Purpose:

Designed to deliver a realistic business transformation roadmap by demonstrating the power of structured process optimization and re-engineering practices.  Process engineers bring a clear and systematic way of linking business value opportunities to tangible execution, delivery, and results.  They also leverage data-driven facts to identify, quantify and provide a clear representation of the current state and potential for optimized future state business processes. 

Leads and influence multi-stakeholder functions to bring optimization and re-engineering to life by providing the right insights, clear impact analysis and high impact solutions for OES stakeholders. Use a structured and disciplined approach to gather data to identify, qualify and plan for a wide variety of opportunities that will be prioritized with the business.  Continuously looking to simplify and rationalize the value stream and allow to constantly grow, adapt, and unlock value to outperform the current state.

Drives the compliance of Process Optimization and Re-engineering methodology and approach from planning, execution, delivery, and monitoring for a multi-stakeholder and cross-functional set of capabilities.

Responsibilities:

·       Leads business unit clients to understand specific business needs, processes, business drivers and business strategy across multiple business units, regions or affiliates; identifies and communicates resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via process re-engineering or technology; aligns with solution delivery team to ensure the execution and implementation of right capabilities of existing systems and technologies.

·       Makes data-driven suggestions complete with expected ROI with full, objective visibility into your process gaps and how to fix them — driving stakeholder buy-in and alignment.

·       Identifies current-state baselines, and hone targeted, future-state metrics to drive the best business outcomes (with the process owner and others). Also, leverages expertise in broad disciplines to define the future state and drive execution through delivery teams and satellite application while ensuring successful implementation and delivery.

·       Leads capability demonstrations. Makes recommendations to business stakeholders regarding the correct approach to achieve process improvement objectives through data-drive insights. Facilitates assessment workshops with delivery teams and business stakeholders to ensure full impact analysis. These may include application development or business process transformation and optimization (e.g., BPM practices, etc).

·       Drives negotiation across multiple business stakeholders to deliver business transformation roadmaps through data-driven facts.

·       Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other BTS departments to ensure successful implementation and support of initiative approach and project efforts. Manages relationships between Internal Customers, Supporting Stakeholder groups, BTS organizations, and External Partners to assure effective communication and progress between the groups is occurring.

·       Brokers services within BTS community to align on execution and delivery of the roadmap from an operational excellence point of view including overall health, re-prioritization, etc. by engaging stakeholder groups.

·       Champions change and innovation. Acts as a change agent and influence stakeholders on best practices, technology trends, etc. to deliver the right outcome to improve the value stream.

·       Strategic Thinking: Understands corporation's vision, goals and strategies to maximize value stream delivery.

·       Compliance: Ensures compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

·       Budget Management: Negotiates, secures, oversees & ensures that resources are available to meet the long-range operational demands of the overall roadmaps as well as individual project, initiative or capability; Continually look for opportunities for cost avoidance and cost reductions.

·       Leading People: Responsible for people leadership within a matrix organization or by directing others without a direct reporting relationship; setting expectations, coaching and counseling team members or extended team members. Confronts and deals with employee issues in a constructive and timely manner. May be responsible for morale of project or initiative team and must promote cohesive attitude. Establishes staffing/resource plans, determining appropriate mix of sourcing opportunities (outsourcing, offshoring and hot skills).


Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business, information systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served, with 9+ years of experience to include project management, business and process experience, resource and team development, strategic technology area development and 2-4 years supervisory experience.

·       Required: 4-6 years overall experience with end-to-end process optimization and re-engineering or operating model design & transformation.

·       Required: Ability to operate within an ambiguous environment with broad goals & objectives.

·       Required: Make strategic decisions that are future facing and positively impact organization.

·       Optional: 2-4 years overall experience with emerging and digital technologies, like process and task mining.
