The organization:

What's happening at Entrada Therapeutics? Our mission is to transform the treatment of devastating diseases and improve patients' quality of life using intracellular biologics. Leveraging our proprietary Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV)™ platform, we are creating and advancing a diverse pipeline of oligonucleotide, enzyme, protein and peptide programs to efficiently target and engage underlying drivers of diseases.

Our novel approach to drug design and delivery addresses current challenges associated with both large and small molecule therapeutics and represents a fundamental advancement in the field of intracellular biologics.

We're a tight-knit team of experts and leaders in both therapeutics development and rare disease and are excited to grow and attract colleagues who are ready to join a high energy, dedicated team that likes to get things done and dramatically improve the lives of patients and their families.

The perfect fit:

You should be ready to support our team of drug discovery scientists as we design, prepare and characterize oligonucleotide constructs and carry out analytical assays for functional validation both in vitro and in vivo.

The opportunity:

In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved in a lot of different aspects of our discovery biology work, for example processing and analyzing samples from in vitro and in vivo studies will be just one of your areas of work. You’ll be expected to work through techniques like RNA/protein extraction, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, ELISA, and western blot. You’ll also have the opportunity to maintain and culture cell lines for in vitro studies, as well as developing and executing cell-based assays for validating biological activity of oligonucleotide and gene-editing based therapeutics. Lastly, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare SOPs and other reports and publications.

Curiosity- We have a growth mindset and push conventional thought and theory

To thrive on our team, you will need to come with:

  • Your BS/MS in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry or similar field with 2+ years of lab experience
  • Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culturing, molecular and biochemistry techniques, such as PCR, qPCR, fluorescence microscopy, Western blotting, and flow cytometry
  • Experience in CRISPR gene-editing, next-generation sequencing, and/or bioinformatics is highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team with strong communication skills
  • Desire to work in an innovative and collaborative environment pursuing high reward science

The perks:
