Job DescriptionAbout the role:As a member of Takeda Oncology, your work will contribute to our bold, inspiring vision: We aspire to cure cancer. As part of the US Marketing Organization you will report to the US CRC Franchise Marketing Head, and work with a cross-functional team to deliver a world-class launch for our lead CRC asset.
How you will contribute:Develops brand related marketing tactical plans and budget for existing indication
Ensures strong execution of all promotional initiatives/programs to support the brand’s critical success factors (CSFs)
Identifies strategic market opportunities and makes recommendations to enhance market potential and brand penetration
Oversees execution of all related in-line tactics for the brand
Leads and manages a brand team focused on brand plan tactical execution
Supervises the development of the speaker program, advisory board plan, congress plan, media plan, personal promotion and non-personal promotion
Assesses competitive market dynamics and prepares scenario plans for key competitive events.
Gains alignment with sales management, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, patient value and access, and analytics – market research to ensure appropriate understanding and implementation of the brand strategy
Develops and manages professional key opinion leader (KOL) relationships and contacts with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in academic and community setting
Works closely with all sales force counterparts and gains insights for sales force needs
Provides strategic direction to the analytics – market research team for any needs of the brand; assists in developing both qualitative and quantitative research studies
Manages timelines and budgets in accordance with brand plan
Responsible for directing and monitoring all third party contractors and vendors
Demonstrates enthusiasm, strong initiative, and high sense of urgency
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in oncology and/or specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology and/or life sciences marketing, new product planning/commercial development, brand strategy development and execution
Oncology or specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology marketing experience
Expertise in developing and executing compelling, succinct, and relevant and consistent promotional messaging for the brand and appropriate for the target audience
Coordinate across the cross-functional brand team in compliant manner to ensure integrity of brand messaging
Experience in supporting and developing long range brand plans, budgets and forecasts
Experience managing congress and conference related marketing activities
Experience managing web/media activities; demonstrated ability deploying innovative print and digital media
Experience in working closely with all sales force counterparts and gaining insights for sales force needs
Experience tracking and managing budgets with finance counterparts
Strong interpersonal & presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage/interface with all levels of the organization
Preferred:
MBA
Launch experience
Experience in CRC marketing positions at a commercial stage pharmaceutical
Travel Requirements:
Up to 20%
