Summary:

The Global Patient Operations Sr. Specialist is responsible for supporting training initiatives for internal team members, external partners for Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) Clinical and Commercial Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell Therapies. This role partners with multiple functions within Global Patient Operations to design trainings content material, create and revise training materials, and lead trainings. This role will also coordinate and support the new hire onboarding process for Global Patient Operations.

This role can be based out of our corporate offices in Seattle, WA. Travel up to 10% of the time may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in the identification, sharing, and adaptation of best training practices cross-functionally
  • Partner with Patient Operations leadership to create and provide effective, efficient and relevant learning content used to educate cross functional global partners
  • Support Global ACT Program, ACT template development and Qualifies ACT instructors Ensure consistency across regions, final approver of ACT content
  • Ensures new hires are onboarded and trained effectively
  • Responsible for developing SOPs & documents, as assigned (Owner/Editor/Reviewer/Approver in document management system)
  • Supports setting KPIs for the Learning and Developing Training team and provides input for process improvements
  • Lead and own multiple projects (complex, strategic, cross-functional), as assigned
  • Support software releases to meet project timelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Education or related field
  • Required minimum 3 years of learning and development experience
  • Expertise in adult learning principles
  • Experience building content and leading training sessions in a variety of locations, and with remote virtual learning environments
  • Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SmartSheet
  • Proficient in training softwaresuch as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia
  • Prefer minimum 1 year of experience in a regulated environment
  • Familiarity with document management systems.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault QualityDocs, is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply findings to solve problems and continuously improve.
  • Ability to rapidly solve problems and deal with organizational complexity
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work with sense of urgency based on criticality
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and Teams.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: specifically: InDesign. Preferred: Adobe photoshop

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $75,000- $95,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
