The Senior Specialist, Planning and Master Data will be a leader among their peers. This individual will serve as one of Scheduling and Cell Logistics’ (SCLT) subject matter experts for patient scheduling systems and processes. This role will act cross-functionally with partners in Product Data Management, Manufacturing, Allocation and Demand Management, and Commercialization. Participation in projects and working groups may occur as a growth opportunity as operations permit, considering operational priorities and alignment with development plans. This individual will be instrumental in managing patient scheduling master data for a rapidly growing Cell Therapy portfolio, enabling a best-in-class customer experience for our patient treatment centers around the world.

  • Position is office-based with in-office attendance is required a minimum of 50% of the time. Remote work must be performed at home with consistent office setup and internet access, as extensive work at computers and phones is essential to job function.

  • Weekend and holiday on-call support is required as assigned.

  • Travel is possible and will not exceed 10%. Travel may occur to domestic and international locations.


  • Implement, review, and maintain master data in SCLT systems to facilitate the enrollment and scheduling of clinical and commercial Cell Therapy patients

  • Routinely connect and work with SCLT’s regional teams (NorAm, EU, APAC) and partners in Product Data Management, Manufacturing, Allocation and Demand Management, and Commercialization to develop, refine, and execute cross-functional processes

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders in-person and through electronic/virtual means

  • Facilitate a positive end-to-end customer experience

  • Actively participate in tactical and other meetings as assigned

  • Represent Scheduling and Cell Logistics on cross-functional initiatives as assigned

  • Provide on-the-job training on areas of subject matter expertise

  • Mentor and support specialists in solving complex problems prior to issues being escalated to management

  • Comply with applicable SOPs, work practices, and other documentation

  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and provide input into the development of future state processes

  • Author, update, and implement procedures and work instructions as assigned

  • Act as subject matter expert for scheduling processes and business requirements gathering for processes and systems changes

  • Participate in at least one working group and execute relevant tasks

  • Manage deviations, CAPAs, and escalations to ensure they are handled expeditiously


  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 4 years of work experience

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP/FDA)

  • Experience in planning/scheduling, managing operations, and/or managing master data in a supply chain or patient operations setting is desired. Cell Therapy experience is preferred.

  • Must have experience working in APEX, GPS, Oracle, SAP, and/or other comparable planning/scheduling systems

  • Must have strong proficiency Office 365 software, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $75,000-$95,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
