Summary

The Associate Director, USMA Oncology, Scientific Engagement is responsible for the execution of activities in support of USMA strategies and plan for the oncology portfolio, under the guidance of the Executive Director, USMA Oncology Innovation & Excellence and in collaboration with USMA asset leads, product teams, and Field Medical Affairs. This position will represent US Medical Affairs at Global Congress Planning meetings by providing an aligned view in conjunction with US Medical Affairs asset and tumor leads. This role will also serve as a liaison with many Oncology Business Unit cross-functional teams including US Medical Affairs functions, US Marketing and other Commercial roles, Meetings and Events, Global Medical Affairs, and various corporate functions.

Responsibilities

- Congress coordination: Functional representative for US Medical Affairs in global, national, and regional congress planning meetings, representing interests of USMA, portfolio compound leads and Field Medical tumor teams. Strategically plan and coordinate executive medical interactions at congresses. Support coordination of USMA scientific engagements at major congresses, in collaboration with Field Medical Affairs, Global Medical Affairs, and other relevant internal cross-functional stakeholders. Coordinate competitive intelligence planning for US regional congresses. Lead external engagement planning for US regional congresses. Champion and partner with compound leads and Field Medica Affairs to develop onsite insights debriefing for Global Congresses and post-congress insights debriefs summarizing output from non-Global national and regional congresses.
- Execution of US medical Advisory Boards and/or other input-seeking medical activities in alignment with VP US Medical leadership. Ensure documentation within Medical CRM per policy, provide onsite Congress support as needed.
- Support coordination and execution of KEE interactions by USMA Executive leadership in collaboration with Field Medical Affairs. Ensure documentation within Medical CRM per policy,
- Manage budget for US Medical Affairs scientific engagement activities/tactics. Support management of Vendor activities and tracking of milestones for payments of activities related to these scientific engagement projects.

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- PharmD, Ph.D. or MD in health science related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications
- 4 + Years related experience preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- 4+ years of working in a medically related field including industry experience in Medical Affairs

Travel

Ability to travel up to 20% Standard office based physical demands, travel as necessary
