Job DescriptionSenior Administrative AssistantAbout the role:Join Takeda as a Sr. Administrative Assistant where you will perform relevant administrative and operational support responsibilities for the US Commercial Operations (USCO) team. You will also support team effectiveness, efficiency and cohesiveness.
How you will contribute:Arrange travel and completes expense reports for leaders.
Manage calendar and initiates meetings for leaders.
Interface and communicates with internal customers; directs people to the appropriate resources.
Research solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of team.
Lead contracts process, including approvals and payment of vendors, consultants, and suppliers; responds to inquiries from accounts payable and payees.
Manage team budget.
Ideate and execute team and culture building activities.
Develop a strong network within organization; draw on network to answer questions and successfully execute responsibilities.
Demonstrate confidentiality in execution of all responsibilities.
Use appropriate tools, as needed, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Coordinate documents and correspondence, including letters, reports, emails, presentations, memos, etc.
Review documents and proofreads work for grammar and spelling, accuracy, consistency of terms, and completeness; ensure document text and graphics adhere to corporate and organization guidelines.
Perform other duties as required.
High school diploma/GED required.
5+ years of relevant administrative assistant experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong PC literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Associates degree
Experience with leading contracts process, including approvals and payment of vendors, consultants, and suppliers.
Managing budget experience
Strong Microsoft Office- Excel and Power Point skills
