About the role:

Working with the Head of Global Benefits and peers, you will develop and present program recommendations to leadership and ensure approved changes are implemented promptly. Additionally, you will develop reports and dashboards tracking actual benefit costs and communicating to finance benefit budget updates. Join Takeda as a Head of Global Pension and Benefit Finance where you will work independently, be innovative, and seek positive change in a dynamic environment. We are seeking someone with a demonstrated history of successfully building and managing large, complex problems and engaging with cross-functional teams, and numerous stakeholders, directly and through influence. As part of the Global Benefits team, you will report to Head of Global Benefits.

How you will contribute:

  • Identify, design and establish a global framework for a corporate governance structure and committee level advisement.

  • Ensure local plans are administered in compliance with plan documents and applicable regulations.

  • Support local teams with plan design and strategic projects (e.g., Plan Design or Benefit Committee Proposals)

  • Partner with key stakeholders globally to provide information and guidance on new or changing laws/regulation/business practices.

  • Participate in and/or lead local RFI/RFPs together with local teams and other internal business stakeholders (payroll, HR services, finance, accounting, legal, tax).

  • Collaborate with finance and third-party vendors to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Creation and maintenance of various reporting dashboards providing value-added, insightful reporting and analysis for senior management

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in global finance with an emphasis on pension funding, reporting and compliance

  • Experience working with IAS19 pension accounting with specific pension experience in US, Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium) and Japan

  • Knowledge of fringe benefit accounting globally

  • International Pension Plan design and management

  • Global pooling, captive funding arrangements

  • Experience working in a global organization

This position is currently classified as "remote" in accordance with Takeda's Hybrid and Remote Work policy.

Base Salary Range: $ 160,300 Range Min to $ 229,000 Range Mid, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees may also be eligible for Short-term and Long-Term Incentive benefits as well. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program and Paid Volunteer Time Off. The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
