Job Details
The MES Solution Analyst is responsible to manage MES projects that are cross functional and must be able to build successful relationships across multiple businesses. You will work with subject matter experts, IT developer and operations users to design and develop solution that will help improve operational efficiency. This position will conduct analysis, functional design, functional testing, and implementation of MES (Siemens Opcenter/Camstar) application capabilities for Manufacturing Operation/Engineering/R&D.
Responsibilities:
- Uses analysis skills to immediately resolve issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and prevent recurrence.
- Work with different manufacturing groups to support the day-to-day MES activities.
- Solution Design: help lead in high level design and technical design discussions based on business requirements.
- Configuration in the required platform, and debug system issues under steady state or managed services.
- Analyze and consult on complex operations issues and present practical solutions via process change or systems requirements.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, functional specification and test plan for meeting manufacturing requirement.
- Model and maintain MES model which meets Pacific Biosciences manufacturing.
- In partnership with development and support team, develop and administer internal processes to help improve the quality of deliverables to our customer.
- Contributes to, accepts and owns team and department decisions.
- Provide MES Administration support.
- Takes part in user meetings and assists in presenting issues and solutions both orally and in writing.
- Identify MES business requirements and design reporting systems/dashboards based on these needs.

Position Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent preferred.
- Must have knowledge in database management systems and SQL queries.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing Siemens (Camstar) systems or any other MES systems.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Siemens Opcenter/MIO/MOM.
- Must have knowledge in Business Intelligence and dashboard tools.
- Programming experience using .NET is a plus.
- Experience or working knowledge of SPC, Asset management and NCR/CAPA modules is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work on assignments independently and in a team setting.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP /Agile and touch points with Agile/SAP is a plus.
- Experience working with Computer System Validation.
- Experience in working in SOX and ISO regulated environments.
- Working experience in working in SOX and ISO regulated environments.
- Must be self-driven, self-managed, highly motivated and have a strong drive for results.

Salary Range:
