Sr. Manager, Sales Training

The Role:

• Collaborate with Commercial leadership to develop competencies critical to a high-performance commercial team.

• Partner with internal and external stakeholder to ensure business strategies are accomplished.

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

• Develop, procures, delivers sales and commercial related training including new hire development, product/industry knowledge, and marketing/selling skills.

• Develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities and ensures training is current and relevant to needs.

• Conduct opinion surveys or needs assessments.

• Develops, designs, and creates new training ideas incorporating adult learning principles.

• Remain current on new training methods and product trends within the organization and among competitors.

• Knowledge of IDNs and office-based accounts.

• Establish long-range objectives and specify the strategies to achieve them.

• Identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.

• Excellent written and oral Communication skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or science discipline; MBA a plus.

• 7+ years' experience in several of the following: sales, sales management, account management (preferably hospital/IDN), sales training, curriculum development.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and distance-learning technology.

• Knowledge of multiple selling skills, models, platforms, and Learning management system LMS.

• Remote with travel up to 20% within the US only.
