The RTP IT team is actively looking for an MES Analyst to join our growing team. On the team you will play a meaningful role in developing business requirements, configuring, testing, installing, and maintaining all changes to the MES application supporting a new manufacturing facility.
What You’ll Be Doing:You will work as a key member of multi-functional project team to implement the MES application. This will require close collaboration with IT, manufacturing operations, and engineering to translate functional requirements into technical requirements, resolve complicated issues, and maintain ongoing operation of the system.
How You’ll Succeed:- Building on your existing technical knowledge of IT systems, you'll become an expert in MES technology and its integration with other IT and automation solutions.
- After gathering business requirements, you will configure and test production procedures that enable manufacturing operations.
- You will provide mentorship and support to MES end users, including diagnosing and resolving issues.
- You will write and execute computer system validation deliverables including specifications, validation plans, test scripts, and reports.
- Demonstrable experience on manufacturing sites, in particular in manufacturing operations or warehouse logistics with presence on the floor.
- Experience working on global teams across organizational levels with the ability to collaborate across a diverse, multi-functional team.
- Understanding of MES systems including configuration, integration with other solutions, and how MES is used to support the business process.
- Effective written and verbal communication, technical analysis, problem solving, and investigative skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly on the job.
- Initiative to seek out information and develop solutions in a start-up environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
- High School Diploma/GED with demonstrated experience as a business analyst
