UNDERGRADUATE PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS INTERN/How will YOU create impact here at USP?

The Portfolio Analytics Intern position is responsible for supporting the designing, prototyping, deploying & maintaining analytical output to meet USPs growing analytic objectives of data-driven insights and decision-making. This position supports Industry Programs and business stakeholders working to develop strategies driven by data analytics.

  • Applies knowledge of current trends in data analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Fosters best practices in support of the overall data strategy and data governance within USP, supporting the overall data analyst community within USP.
  • Support quantitative and qualitative data analysis, leveraging analytics to guide data-driven decision-making and strategy
  • Support in processing information for easier consumption and transforming it into actionable plans
  • Supports the design and development of reporting tools
  • Supports RPO reporting and analytics activities as they relate to the organizations value streams
  • Supports creating and distributing detailed analytic applications (dashboards, workflows, output, data science, datasets, etc.)
  • Ensures ad-hoc analytic assignments are appropriately documented, executed, and cataloged.

Who USP is Looking For?

  • Bachelor's degree in progress majoring in data science, analytics, statistics, computer science, or a relevant field.
  • Some minor experience in visualizing data and creating interactive dashboards in Tableau (or similar)
  • Preferably junior or senior
  • Tableau experience is a bonus
