Note:  Roles are posted at the lowest level of a band, however, employees should search across all levels of the band to identify all opportunities.  Employees hired on banded positions (ex: P1-P3, R1-R2, B1-B3, etc.) transfer at their current level, despite the level indicated on the job posting.  For example, if a P2 candidate is selected for a P1-P3 banded position, the candidate will remain a P2 in the new role.

Position Brand Description:

The Leader – IDAP Vault Operations for providing shift leadership in Vault Device Assembly.  The Leader is responsible for daily operations including: safety of the area, ensuring compliance with all policies/procedures/training, development of operators, ensuring resources are scheduled accordingly per the production plan, and helping resolve any production issues.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • Demonstrating and delivering a strong safety culture for the shift
  • Delivering strong quality performance for the shift in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensuring the shift follows all cGMP requirements
  • Ensuring staffing of the device assembly lines with trained/qualified operators
  • Supervising, developing, and coaching operators
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity, and driving improvement in these areas
  • Communicating with area leadership and support personnel on safety, quality, engineering, and operational issues
  • Initiating Trackwise events for safety/quality incidents that occur in the area

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferences:

  • Strong safety and quality mindset
  • Knowledge of and experience with cGMP requirements
  • Basic computer skills including SAP, PMX, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to communicate to various levels of the organization (operators, maintenance, engineers, managers, etc)
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Device Assembly or Packaging Operations experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Previous supervisor experience
  • Ability to navigate SAP, EWM, PMX

Other Information:

  • This is a 12-hour night shift position.
  • Position may work with various Lilly products.
  • Work hours and start times may vary.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Some roles require ability to work with controlled substances – background check is required for those instances.
