The Aging/Age-Related Disorders group at Regeneron is committed to discovering novel targets and innovative medicines to treat Age-Related disorders through an enhanced understanding of the mechanisms of Aging. We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow with a strong publication record as a graduate student, and some familiarity/background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and gene expression.  A background in either Aging biology or Skeletal Muscle biology is helpful, but not mandatory.  The fellow would be mentored by David Glass, who directs the Aging program at Regeneron.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:
  • Identifying novel mechanisms relevant to understanding age-regulated mechanisms which may impact disease.

  • Provide research progress reports to supervisors and the postdoctoral program committee.

  • Participate in postdoctoral program activities such as weekly meetings and annual research conference.

This role might be for you if:
  • You are PhD or MD with strong scientific credentials

  • You have a prior record of first-author publications

  • You have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a highly interactive environment.

This role requires a minimum of a PhD and/or MD, with at least 3 years of research experience. The postdoctoral fellow position is for early career scientist trainees to receive a rigorous scientific training at Regeneron under the auspices of a scientist mentor for up to four years. Fellows will be expected to conduct creative exploratory research that results in publications.

Please note, the specific starting salary for this role is $82,000.

Salary Range (annually)

$68,900.00 - $110,100.00
