Responsibilities:

Gladstone seeks a laboratory aide to provide support for the Gladstone Institute of Data Science and Biotechnology. Duties include cleaning/autoclaving of glassware; preparation of reagents and plates according to protocols supplied by lab and/or scientists; biohazard/chemical/radioactive waste handling according to OSHA standards; maintenance of tissue culture facilities including autoclaving incubators and cleaning tissue culture biosafety cabinets; conference room set ups; maintenance of lab inventory; and general laboratory housekeeping.Qualifications:Applicants must be highly organized, flexible, and able to efficiently work in a collaborative, fast-paced, friendly and diverse environment. They need to have an exemplary work ethics and good communication skills. The ideal candidate also has basic laboratory experience, including experience with laboratory equipment, EH&S regulations and handling of waste (medical, hazardous, radioactive). The position involves moderate lifting. High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.

Hiring Range:

$22/hr - $25.88/hr
