Summary

The Field Medical Alignment Associate Director is responsible for leading the collection and reporting of field medical affairs insights to support the data-driven development of medical, R&D and commercial tactics and strategies. As part of the USMA Innovation & Excellence Team, the Field Medical Alignment Associate Director partners with Field Medical Affairs, Medical Affairs Product Teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, innovation and continuous improvement of Field Medical Affairs insight collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

- Medical Insight Collection and Reporting:

- Partner with key stakeholders to understand business priorities and data needs
- Collaborate across field medical teams to drive the collection of field medical insights through appropriate systems
- Integrate cross-functional insight priorities into field medical key insight topics and questions
- Facilitate functional alignment discussions regarding field medical insights
- Lead the development of medical insight analysis, reporting and dissemination of medical insights to key cross-functional stakeholders across the Oncology business unit
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor relevant KPIs to track program performance
- Provide support to the Field Medical Affairs and Medical Affairs Product Teams through ad-hoc analyses that may be needed to support or help drive strategy
- Operational Excellence:

- Active member and participant on the USMA Innovation Excellence Team
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement for USMA insight reporting through system enhancements and policy/procedures improvements
- Scan the healthcare environment and analyze emerging trends to identify skills and competencies necessary to drive future organizational capabilities. Provide and leverage expert knowledge, innovative thinking and resources to assist in continuous process improvement and USMA optimization

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

- PharmD, PhD or MD in a health science related field preferred
- MBA preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required

Experience Qualifications

- 4 or More Years related experience preferred
- 1 or More Years field medical or medical affairs experience in Oncology or Hematology preferred
- 4 or More Years working in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment preferred
- Knowledge of the US Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Project/Program Management experience (pharma, academia, small business, etc.) preferred
- Experience working in a matrix environment with multiple leaders each with priority projects preferred

Travel

Ability to travel up to 10% Travel to scientific congresses
