Scientist, Oncology & Immuno-Oncology

We are seeking a Scientist to join the Oncology/Immuno-Oncology group.   You will be part of a team responsible for the identification and validation of novel tumor drug targets (using CRISPR technology) and for the screening of fully-human antibodies (generated with our proprietary VelocImmune technology) against these targets. 

In this role, a typical day may include:

• Develop and optimize assays for CRISPR screens to identify novel drug targets, understand resistance mechanisms to therapeutic candidates and uncover biological function of immuno-modulatory receptor-ligand interactions. 

• Perform CRISPR screens in tumor cell lines as well as primary immune cells.  

• Perform in vivo experiments including organ harvest for primary cell isolation and/or tumor experiments in mice.

• Analyze data and communicate results clearly and concisely.

• Organize results into a finished format for presentation.

• Maintain precise lab notebooks.

• You have excellent communication skills and can work well in a team.

To be considered for this role you must have a BS/MS plus 6 years of relevant experience. We need someone with expertise with in vitro tissue culture, cell-based and molecular biology assays. You should also have some exposure to in vivo tumor models and flow cytometry. Experience with CRISPR is helpful but not required for this position.

$88,500.00 - $144,500.00
