General Scope and Summary

Sage Therapeutics is searching for a creative, resourceful, and integrative thinker for an important role that is responsible for providing training coordination and administrative and logistical support for the Commercial Learning team within Sage. The Commercial Learning Ops Coordinator works in close collaboration with Commercial Operations team and other departments or external vendors as necessary to ensure effective coordination and delivery of learning initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide support for learning events, consisting of but not limited to: managing learning materials, booking resources, setting up technology and resources, maintaining training room calendars, setting up rooms, ordering catering, confirming trainer and presenter logistics, scheduling webinars, and managing production, i.e., copying, creating agendas, building binders, and creating name tents.

  • Assist functional learning partners by engaging with learning assets within Workday Learning Management System (courses, document uploads, eLearning uploads/assignments, audience assignments, and process of report requests).

  • Participate in the ongoing development, implementation, review, and revision of documentation and processes to ensure all training and training materials meet minimum standards of excellence and consistency.

  • Assist maintaining the departmental content on SharePoint, ensuring it is accurate, up to date, and edited.

  • Assist with the Commercial New Hire Orientation program. Coordinate with content presenters to ensure coverage and improve quality of presentation.

  • Provide course support for learning instructors. Assist Commercial Learning colleagues with assembly of workshop manuals for learning programs and any additional preparation work.

  • Record metrics related to program delivery to show value and impact of the programs to the Sage community.

  • Manage multiple projects and meetings with competing priorities and timelines.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve pre-, onsite, and post-programs to execute a safe, professional, and productive program in a cost-effective manner.

  • Work closely with designers and managers to keep them updated on training material inventory to meet business objectives.

  • Work with purchasing and vendors to create contracts for various programs and manage expense administration in accordance to Sages finance procedures and systems.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree; degree in education, marketing, communications, or a similar field preferred.

  • 3+ years of administrative experience, including 1+ year of work experience with event planning or coordination within a corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable with data management/data manipulation.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

  • Experience operating/administering a Learning Management System (Workday Learning) or similar application preferred.

  • Highly organized and good with details.

  • High standard of excellence and a love for innovative technical solutions.

  • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders. An ability to influence for greater outcomes.

  • Emerging project management skills.

  • Strong team player that has a service mindset and is solution-oriented.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.

  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
