Research Associate II/Sr. Research Associate, Molecular & Cellular Biology

This position will perform experiments in molecular and cellular biology related to cancer and immunology. 

Your Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the Discovery Research team to develop new therapeutic molecules for cancer and infectious diseases
• Learn and implement techniques to evaluate therapeutic candidate molecules, such as ELISA and flow cytometry
• Learn and implement techniques to prepare therapeutic molecules for administration into animals
• Participate in experiment planning and data analysis

Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

• College degree in biology or biochemistry or a related life sciences field.
• 5+ years of relevant academic or industrial experience.
• Experience with molecular biology or biochemistry techniques.
• Experience with cell culture and immunological assays.
• Familiarity with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and presentation software.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  
• Experience with animal studies a plus.

• Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 40 lbs.
• May encounter prolonged periods of sitting or standing
• This position requires working around hazardous materials 

Other Requirements:

• This position may require some work on weekends and holidays

Compensation and Benefits

Omeros is proud to offer a competitive total compensation package designed to support the lives of our employees and their families. The wage scale for the Research Associate is $71,900 to $79,500 per year. For the Sr Research Associate $88,600 to $98,000.
