Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Position 

As a Summer Intern at Eikon, you will have an active role amongst a highly professional and highly motivated Supply Chain Team. We are an integral support element to the research and development here at Eikon. You will be called upon to assist and support the day to day needs of the Supply Chain Team. As well as our continued efforts to define the protocols that will ensure Eikon’s future Operational growth.  

About You 

You are a future Supply Chain or Business enthusiast who wants to fully understand the Operational business needs of a functioning Supply Chain Team. You are data oriented, who can look outside the box to improve efficiencies and goals within the team. You pay the upmost attention to detail, documentation and organization. You are collaborative by nature and are happy to jump in and help. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy pushing the edge of what is possible. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Shadow Procurement, Sourcing and Warehouse teams to develop and understand how the day to day process meets our business needs
  • Work directly with Sr. Warehouse Manager to implement 5S protocols within the Warehouse. Document and define protocols that can be used globally, across multiple Eikon locations
  • Engage with Systems Analyst for KPI reporting. Assist with data collection, education and improvements to all team members exactly how the KPI data is collected and reported
  • Assist in purchase order tracking, confirmations and delivery follow ups
  • Participate in the development of a Material Management strategy to determine key material details including A/B/C Classification, Safety Stock, Re-order points, etc…
  • Support, collaborate and communicate across Operations and Finance teams to successfully progress Quarterly Ops goals
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and communication and act as a resource for others

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university with a major in Business, Supply Chain or related field of study
  • Some knowledge of Supply Chain and / or Purchasing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, with an emphasis in Excel. Able to report and chart as needed
  • Ability to multi-task with organized and detail-oriented record-keeping; including excellent written and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent with the ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Ability to manage own priorities and deliverables while being strongly team oriented and highly collaborative
  • Ability to communicate clearly, and build open collaborative relationships is essential 

The expected salary range for this role is $30/hour to $35/hour depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
