Director, Medical Information

As a Director of Medical Information, you will lead and supervise a core function that provides accurate, unbiased, balanced and timely responses to unsolicited medical inquiries regarding Regeneron marketed and development products from health care professionals, patients, clinical sites and managed care organizations. 

A typical day may include the following: 
Management of Medical Information Call Center
Ensuring scientific/medical accuracy of any Medical Information content deliverable. 
Providing perspective and expertise to develop necessary policies and procedures that are in accordance with industry standards and appropriate regulations/guidelines relating to medical information and communication.
Responding to raised medical information requests from the call center in a timely fashion
Identifying, analyzing and sharing medical information inquiry trends
Developing, reviewing and maintaining the medical information standard response documents for the call center
Prepare, help conduct and facilitate product training for various cross functional departments
Provide product medical communication expertise to internal colleagues
Provide product support and guidance and training to call center associates
Maintain a working knowledge of all pertinent FDA, or other regulatory, OIG, other governmental agencies" guidance's and regulations (e.g., HIPPA, copyright laws etc.)
Review promotional material for scientific accuracy and balance
Analyze, interpret and summarize medical literature for findings with clinical/strategic relevance
Work effectively and proactively on cross functional project teams, forms strong partnerships with other departments to strategically support and advance Regeneron business outcomes through guidance and influence
Liaise with relevant departments to develop and stay current with product knowledge
Maintains Product Scientific Q&A
Congress Activity: Provide medical information support at company sponsored medical information booth and provide updates on inquiries at the daily medical debriefs. Provide scientific session, poster or symposium coverage when requested. Attend face to face meetings to gain pertinent feedback from experts

To be considered for this you are required to have a PhD, PharmD or MD along wit a minimum of 10 years Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry along with 5 + years in Medical Information. Managing a Medical Information team and Promotional Review experience is required. 
Travel requirement: 25% Medical Congress Attendance

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually)

$172,500.00 - $287,500.00
