Summer Intern 2022- Project Delivery

Position

The Project Delivery Intern will complete one summer internship during which they will work closely with other engineers, as well as cross-functionality with other departments to assist in capital projects.​

Responsibilities:​

• Assist in capital projects and operational support.​

• Assist in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), piping and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs) and process flow diagram (PFD) Drawings.​

• Provide project technical support in the development of engineering documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Examples include system specifications, commissioning document, requests for proposals, requests for information, and change controls.​

• Work with contractors/consultants to answer questions and ensure that project work is delivered as expected.​

• The intern will be introduced to tasks utilizing skills in various areas of engineering. Examples include Industrial Controls, Process Engineering, Qualification and Capital Project execution.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a 4-year university with progression toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction or related field. ​

• Student must have completed sophomore year at the beginning of summer, 2022.

• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required.

• Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.

• Demonstrates acceptance of responsibility, shows pride in work performed, demonstrates flexibility and acceptance of assignments and schedules. 

• Maintains professional behavior and appearance. Exhibits dependability
