Position Purpose:
The overarching goal of the Associate Director, Hematology/Oncology Payer Marketing, is to lead overall development and execution of brand value and access strategies. This position will report to the Sr. Director-Brand Marketing- Hematology/Oncology Market Access
Position Responsibilities:
As the team and the space rapidly evolves, so too may the core responsibilities within this role. Currently scoped efforts include:
- Develop and evolve brand value and access strategies; ensure execution creates positive customer experiences and is aligned to brand strategy and lifecycle plan
- Develop and evolve brand value story and key payer messages (CVME) in partnership with medical, VEO, market research and brand payer agency
- Provide direction and own relationship with brand payer agency
- Provide input into brand RWE plan and lead development of FDAMA resources for account teams
- Partner with HCP and Consumer teams to co-develop the marketing plan for Customer Council
- Partner with Demand Generation COE to coordinate execution of pull through priorities with salesforce
- Create and gain approval for internal communications; manage brand communications to field teams
- Own diagnostic PRA execution strategy for all field teams in partnership with broader PRA and HCP marketing teams
- Work effectively, using agile principles, with cross-functional partners (e.g., Medical, Legal, Regulatory, etc.) to have content and tactics approved in an efficient manner to hit in-market deadlines.
- Provide strategy and execution input for brand co-pay/affordability programs and channel strategies; develop and lead brand communications to account and sales teams
- Develop and monitor measurement plan for brand value and access performance metrics, including access, affordability, and customer support
- Partner with account, medical and VEO teams to ensure brand value message and resources are meeting business and customer needs – providing training and support as needed
- Provide input into brand’s oncology account management strategy with corporate and strategic accounts
- Lead specialty projects as necessary.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of PRA, finance, field, or marketing experience

- MBA
- Launch experience
- US/Global marketing, LVA, and/or payer experience (contracting / channel / tactical understanding)
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Influence (one on one and group setting) – ability to effectively drive decision-making
- Strong project management skills
- Experience managing agencies / external partner vendors
- Ability to apply all Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP) and Good Promotional Practices (GPP) in unstructured and fluid situations
- Understanding of laws and regulations covering providers and payers
