Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute the activities of the Human Resource (HR) function for a biotechnology manufacturing facility
  • Oversee and optimize recruiting process end to end balancing in-house and external recruiting relationships to optimize the hiring process, inclusive of key management hires
  • Lead pay-for-performance environment ensuring all levels of the organization align on goal achievement and effective feedback
  • Manage a range of talent searches and be a true business partner to our hiring managers, heavily impact our hiring strategy, and hire diverse talent
  • Develop and employ effective sourcing strategies that deliver high caliber and diverse talent for current and future needs 
  • Own and manage HR programs such as benefits administration, policy building, employee engagement, succession planning and performance management
  • Work independently and manage projects – requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Effectively work with team to promote and reinforce environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts for ensuring a socially conscious footprint
  • Establish employee communications cadence with HR team and Executive leaders including town halls, feedback and change related items


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 5-7 years of experience within the Human Resources function; a strong foundation within Talent Acquisition area of the field is required
  • Strong leadership and planning skills; able to effectively design and execute on a vision within small and medium companies
  • Extensive knowledge in the development and management of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Exceptional relationship building abilities with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; must have good public speaking skills and the ability to present and lead HR programs and onboarding
  • Excellent analytical skills including HR related metrics
  • Track record of leading and implementing change
  • Experience documenting and executing internal HR processes - all with an eye for detail and for making these processes better, scalable, and more efficient
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with documents, data and presentations; intermediate MS Office skills; ADP or similar experience actively using an HR payroll software
  • Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs
