The Opportunity
- Routinely support operation of large-scale solid-phase reactors
- Learn the workflows of technical teams by shadowing lab scientists
- Identify and/or optimize operations to improve process robustness, throughput, and cost while maintaining product quality
- Assist with data management and assay analysis
- Works towards future scalability
- Provide mentorship to peers work toward an efficiently cross trained team

To thrive on our team, you will need :
- Bachelors and/or masters in biochemistry, chemistry, chemical, or biological engineering, or a related discipline with 0‑2 years of relevant industry experience
- Technical experience in the following areas is preferred: Solid-phase chemistry (peptides oligonucleotides, etc.), large-scale batch reactor operations, experimental design, assay development and troubleshooting.
- Basic lab capabilities, such as pipetting and buffer preparation, are desired.
- Prior co-op or internship experience is favorable.
- Experience with analytical techniques (e.g. SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, and LC-MS) for macromolecules such as RNA, DNA, and peptides will be plus.
- Exceptional oral communication skills
- Ability to effectively document and communicate results
- Strong interpersonal skills with an eagerness to support colleagues across the organization and a demonstrated aptitude for team and employee development
You should be a naturally collaborative and a strong communicator, and let’s not forget the ability to multi-task effectively would be a huge plus in this fast-paced environment
The PerksAs a Contractor with Entrada, you will be eligible to participate in the Company’s transportation benefit and may expense up to $150 monthly for commuting purposes. Our location in the vibrant and growing Seaport District is close to all the best that the city of Boston has to offer. You will also be able to log Holiday hours to be paid for National Holidays.
