Description

Summary

The Events Coordinator organizes events, trade shows, webinars and meetings. This includes company participation in conferences, exhibitions and seminars primarily in the United States and occasionally in other countries in addition to company-sponsored activities. 

The Events Coordinator is a part of the Marketing team in the Arlington, Virginia, office and reports directly to the Global Events Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Plan and manage events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
  • Contribute creatively to increase event success
  • Prepare and ensure adherence to budgets 
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers in advance of events
  • Ensure complete event administration, e.g., enrollment, hotels, flights, registration, transport
  • Coordinate venue management, e.g., work with caterers, stand designers, and other vendors
  • Plan and compose promotional messaging for events on kerecis.com and social media
  • Manage advertising schedule and work with trade journals to link events to advertising and editorial
  • Ensure events are completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
  • Prepare post-event reports and analysis and make recommendations to increase the success of all events
  • Manage the lead capture process at events, and ensure lead delivery to the correct team for entry in Kerecis’ pipeline system
  • Assist with the Arlington office visitor check in/check out program
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Competencies

  • Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Trade show and events coordination experience preferred - minimum one year
  • The Events Coordinator understands marketing and promotion and works to ensure the success, timeliness and cost-effectiveness of events with constructive follow-up evaluation. This role manages complex projects and has an eye for successful brand positioning.
