Position

As an HTS RA, you will work closely with scientists and other RAs on Eikon’s Platform Biology team to coordinate, troubleshoot, and execute Single Molecule Tracking (SMT) experiments on Eikon’s automated systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with scientists, RAs, and automation engineers to execute, troubleshoot, optimize SMT screening campaigns and processes on Eikon’s automated systems
  • Generate high quality screening data by performing consistent operations from week to week
  • Report process status and deviations to the appropriate individuals and teams
  • Physically set-up and take down the systems and all associated dependencies
  • Clean and maintain lab equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, biotechnology, microbiology, biology, or related field
  • 1 year of relevant lab experience
  • Experience with sterile technique and basic wet-lab skills including media preparation, pipetting, and biological sample handling
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience with high throughput screening preferred
  • Automated liquid handler experience preferred
  • Data analysis experience preferred
  • Experience working with automated lab equipment software (VWorks preferred)

The expected salary range for this role is $66,000 to $76,000 depending on skills, competency and the market demand for your expertise.
