We strive for a highly integrated C3 (consumer, healthcare provider and payer) strategy. This position will be responsible for executing consumer strategy by collaborating across the brand team(s), cross-functionally, and through key partners on the Customer Experience Hub (CEH) to deliver an exceptional experience for the people taking our medicines.

This US Consumer Marketing Associate role will be focused on US consumer marketing for a critical type 2 diabetes product and responsible for assisting with the development and execution of customer-focused brand implementation of Lilly USA Marketing processes. We are seeking top talent to drive the continued success. The position may operate in an agile team concept designed to allow flexibility to execute the below job responsibilities as either dedicated, partially dedicated, and/or working across multiple brands. The incumbent should expect that the alignment to a specific brand and/or therapeutic area could change over time based upon business priorities. The duration of alignment could vary.

Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Support (40%)
Customer Experience
• Provide input and help to create the direction for a positive customer experience. Understand all customer insights and apply/integrate these across touchpoints that address Moments of Truth (MOTs) for the target consumer(s), especially focused on medication adherence challenges.
• Participate in development of customer council required elements and materials.
• Support development and implementation of novel tactics and partnerships.
• Support Message / Creative Development Support selection of message in partnership with agency and Lilly Market Research (LMR).
• Actively participate in agency-led development of creative platform; write, review and recommend revisions to the creative brief and the creative expression of creative platform.

Tactic Assessment / Message
• Monitor performance of customer tactics via performance metrics determined by brand and agency. Monitor messages, adjusting message / tactics, as needed. Develop measurement plan for tactics in area of responsibility. (May partner with Analytics / Lilly Market Research, as well as agency partners, to design and oversee implementation of the measurement plan.)
• Assess major tactics and devise acceleration or course corrections, as needed to achieve / exceed planned results.

Tactic Implementation / Media Planning
• Oversee and approve partner agencies’ tactics.
• Approve all tactic briefs, estimates and timelines and work to solve issues /roadblocks.

Operations Support (40%)
Tactic Development
• Prepare, Create, Approve: Responsible for deliverables, provide input on deliverable / project plans and on deliverable creation, verify appropriate functions have been consulted, ensure deliverables align with brand strategy, and escalate issues as needed.

Website Management

Serve as Lilly Website Owner. Responsibilities of the Lilly Website Owner include:
• Providing oversight of website content, ensuring development and maintenance is performed in accordance with procedures, providing consultation to project manager and others, and ensuring all appropriate quality checks are performed and periodic reviews are conducted.


Project Implementation / Financial Management
• Assist with tactical communication vehicles, track schedule and coordinate with other team associates.
• Track and manage detailed budget for responsible tactics (MMS, accrual process, etc.). Provide budget roll-up to brand budget owner.

Partner Relationship Management
• Supports relationship with agency / external vendor partner, day-to-day relationship with business partners.

Risk Management
• Responsible for understanding, implementing and adhering to company policies, processes and external obligations, as applicable.


Marketing and Medical Interaction
• Coordinate appropriately with The Lilly Answer Center (TLAC) to provide needed information and influence the experience.

Programs (20%)
• Support and manage Consumer Experience Programs including savings card
• Monitor day-to-day operations and performance of program(s) in areas of responsibility via metrics determined by brand and appropriate support functions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 2 years of industry experience and/or 1 year of industry experience and an MBA, or Completion of Lilly Marketing Academy
