We are looking for Veeva Technical Architect within the Commercial IT Global Sales Technology team. The role will provide technical design, configuration and execution support for global sales technology, manage technical specifications, design throughout the lifecycle of technology, including primarily Veeva, associated modules and platforms. Lead and identify areas of advancements and support by creating technical proof of concepts and  solution conceptualization for commercial stakeholders. Drive projects by ensuring that standards and processes are followed to deliver a well governed and controlled implementation approach. Bring pharmaceuticals experience to enable the delivery of new CRM capabilities that are required to drive key strategic objectives.

 As a Sr. Product Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • Define a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value to the Commercial field force
  • Leverage people, process, and technology to help senior leadership with the establishment of CRM strategy that aligns to the business strategy, engaging stakeholders, and supporting a World Class and robust CRM system
  • Manage transition and knowledge transfer to post-production support; provide leadership and support to the service provider, where necessary to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Participate in requirement gathering efforts to provide feedback on technical feasibility and viability in addition to best practices for Veeva.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Data Management, Shared Services (AMS), Field Sales, Field Reimbursement, Commercial Operations etc.) to set CRM release roadmap.
  • Ensure the quality and on time delivery of technical implementation projects/programs with supporting deliverables and artifacts.
  • Continue to monitor industry trends for new technology capabilities being raised by peer pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable solution frameworks, thought leadership, and client offerings through personal experience and perspective

  • You have strong communication skills and able to translate technical concepts to non-technical terms and stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science as well as 8+ years of experience delivering IT technology platforms. Veeva and/or Salesforce system administration certification (preferred).  Deep technical expertise on Veeva and Salesforce, understanding of the real-world use of CRM capabilities by the sales organization in life sciences industry.  Hands-on configuration and admin experience with Veeva Commercial suite (CRM & Vault PromoMats) and Salesforce.com.  Understanding of integration capabilities across the products in the suite and base salesforce.com functionality.  Experience with data collection, designing workflows, and audit requirements to determine suitability of the CRM software.  Experience with Field Deployment Activities, such as realignments, and Veeva Align tool.  Proven track record building technology with Veeva (CRM, Align, CLM, Events Management, Suggestions) and Salesforce.com  applications.  Experience partnering and collaborating with Pharmaceutical Field Sales and Commercial Operations functions.  Experience working with global sales team with history of successful sampling and product launches.  Experience in integration architecture and patterns including integration via APIs and services is required.  Expertise translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms for leaders in both small and large group settings.  Experience managing all elements of the product development lifecycle.   Knowledge and understanding of Pharmaceutical commercial reporting and data integration capabilities using modern technologies (e.g. Tableau/Qlik, Dell Boomi, API Gateway, AWS S3/RedShift), ServiceNow, JIRA and Master Data Management.

Salary Range (annually)

$126,600.00 - $206,600.00
