A Manager of Data Governance supports Global Development’s (GD) data governance activities within the operational domain. This includes the development and maintenance of processes, policies, and guidelines for administering the organization's data and records and ensure the operational data processes are efficient and effective from end-to-end. Ensures compliance to data standards and data curation policies and processes in partnership with Functional Areas. Responsible for coordinating the management of Global Development’s master data and ontologies and serves as a point of contact for governance, data quality and protection issues.

A typical day might include the following:
  • Driving consistency of operational data implementing the Data Governance strategy across GDs Clinical Operational Domain

  • Supporting the design, definition, and delivery of an effective operational data exchange between Regeneron and its strategic partners e.g., CROs

  • Supporting and help maintaining GD's data governance framework with the business objective of treating data as an asset, ensuring quality of data

  • Supporting the methodologies to define ontologies, taxonomies, and metadata for information management at the Domain level and support curation at the Global Development level

  • Capturing and detailing metadata and ontologies for GD

  • Facilitating the development and implementation of data quality standards and data protection standards, processes, and procedures within the domain

  • Supporting the creation of automated, scalable approaches for data quality issue identification and support mitigation

  • Partnering with members of GD, other Regeneron Departments and external third parties, to continuously validate and improve the quality of internal and external data

  • Support the development and assessments of metrics for adoption and compliance with operational governance processes

This role might be for you if:
  • You are proficient with Data Governance Principles, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Lineage, Policy and Process, Metadata Management and Cataloguing, etc

  • You are experienced with working with modern data practices including DMBOK and FAIR principles

To be considered for this opportunity you must a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience pharma/biotech/CRO industry backgrounds is highly preferred. Experience from consulting agencies or a similar heavily regulated environment is acceptable. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be on-site 2 times a week, with 3 days work-from-home.

Salary Range (annually)

$108,200.00 - $176,600.00
