 This role is based on-site in Redwood City (Redwood Shores), California 

The Role

Seer is seeking a result oriented individual to implement, lead and support the General and Administration and Operations systems and applications in a fast-paced environment, primarily focused on Oracle NetSuite. This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the G&A and Operations Systems IT roadmap, including the design, development and implementation of new capabilities and the ongoing maintenance of the associated applications. The role will be responsible for partnering closely with the Finance and Ops organizations to understand their business roadmap, goals and objectives while providing technology solutions. The role will also partner with multiple service providers that will help with the project execution of some of those capabilities.

Responsibilities & Goals:

  • Collaborate closely with IT leadership and the business community to provide application portfolio leadership for G&A and Operations teams
  • Oversee the project management of the G&A and Operations functions and partner closely with other members of the IT organization in the delivery of projects across Seer
  • Translate user requirements and user stories into functional and technical designs
  • Execute functional tasks and deliverables of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including process definition and reengineering, high and detailed-level requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, functional design, testing, training, reporting, support, and continuous improvement of business applications
  • Develop documentation and business requirements for workflows as required by the business community and by SOX, GDPR and other compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the negotiation of the contracts with necessary entities where software, service, and consulting are required
  • Manage vendors and other delivery teams to ensure appropriate delivery against our systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology, established project timelines and budget

 Background & Qualifications

  • 4-year university degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or Computer Science
  • 5-8 years direct experience managing Oracle Netsuite ideally focused in Financial and Operations processes, including application maintenance and delivery of new capabilities
  • Proven experience in overseeing the direction, planning, installation and implementation of software solutions
  • Excellent project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structure
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes is preferred

At Seer, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,000 and $180,000, and will depend on the candidates education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock option plan.
