Sr Research Associate II - Biologics Analytical Operations (Late-Stage Development)

Role and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Proficiently executes laboratory techniques such as HPLC/UHPLC, CE-SDS, cIEF, UV-VIS, LC-MS, and other techniques commonly used for biologics.

  • Authors test methods, validation protocols, and technical reports. Contributes to regulatory filings.

  • Act as analytical method owner for assigned assays by developing a deep understanding of method attributes and performance through execution and or review of robustness experiments and method monitoring in preparation for commercialization.

  • Contributes to late-stage method validation activities internally and/or at external laboratories. Troubleshoots issues as needed.

  • Plans and executes assigned experiments with supervision or independently to support method development activities and non-routine investigations to deliver on project goals.

    Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Excellent technical communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Understands the analytical life cycle concepts as applied to analytical development.

  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Demonstrated skills in analytical instrumentation and data analysis (e.g. HPLC, CE, mass spec)

  • Must think critically and creatively, determine appropriate resources for resolution of problems and have strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and technical) and strong interpersonal skills are required.

    Basic Qualifications:
    • MS degree with 3+ or BS degree with 5+ years relevant industry experience
